Alumni Generations Scholarship 2026: Need-Based

    Alumni Generations Scholarship (Need Based) - Fall 2026

    Applications for the 2026-2027 academic year may be submitted after January 1, 2026. No applications will be accepted after May 1, 2026.

    This scholarship will be awarded to select incoming freshmen, as well as current sophomores, juniors and seniors who best demonstrate how they have met and excelled in the following criteria:
    • Be the child, stepchild, grandchild or step-grandchild of a Duquesne graduate,
    • Have a cumulative QPA/GPA of at least 2.5. (For students entering their freshman year, high school grades will be reviewed.)
    • Demonstrate financial need. (The FAFSA form MUST be completed and processed for the upcoming academic year and on file in Duquesne University's Office of Financial Aid prior to the application deadline.)
    • Be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at Duquesne University in the upcoming school year.

    Students who are receiving a full tuition scholarship, tuition remission or tuition exchange will not be eligible for this scholarship. Please visit this link for additional Financial Aid Terms and Conditions.

    Students are not eligible to receive both the Merit-Based and Need-Based Scholarships. Only one type of Alumni Generations scholarship may be awarded per student.

    This scholarship is not automatically renewed - students must re-apply each academic year.
    The application deadline is May 1, 2026.
    Applicants will be notified of their scholarship decision by July 1, 2026.
