Dukes from the Last Decade Nomination

The Duquesne University Young Alumni Network is seeking nominations for the sixth annual Dukes from the Last Decade Awards.

Selections are made from nominees who are Duquesne graduates from the last 10 years and have demonstrated one or more of the following: Outstanding professional excellence, commitment and service to their community, and dedication to Duquesne University. Most importantly, the selected award recipients are young alumni who exemplify the Mission of the University in their daily lives.

The selected award recipients will be formally recognized at a reception on Saturday, April 11, 2026, as the sixth class of the Dukes from the Last Decade.

Recipient Selection Criteria

Nominations for the 2026 awards must be Duquesne University alumni who graduated with a Bachelor's degree in the ten years prior to the nomination. Alumni or graduate and professional programs are eligible so long as their undergraduate degrees were received within the ten years prior to the nomination deadline.

Nominations are considered for three consecutive years, as long as the nominee remains eligible; nominators are encouraged to resubmit a nomination if there have been any changes to the nominee's life since the original nomination was submitted (i.e., work promotion, mission trip experience, media piece, etc.).

Previous Dukes from the Last Decade award recipients are not eligible for consideration but are encouraged to nominate other Duquesne alumni.

Members of the Young Alumni Network Executive Board and Duquesne University Advancement Staff are not eligible for consideration.

Self-nominations will not be accepted. The nomination form must be completed by the nominator.

It is the nominator's responsibility to confirm the nominee meets the above criteria. The submission of nominations does not have to be kept confidential from those nominated.
